PMPA monthly meetings are a fun and educational. Meetings cover a diverse range of topics that payroll professionals will find beneficial.

Come join us! Breakfast begins at 7:30 AM with our speaker, George Mavrantzas, of Global Cash Cards. He will be speaking with us about the Millenials preferences for paycards.

George Mavrantzas joined the Global Cash Card team in September of 2009.  He has over 18 years in the prepaid industry with the last 12 years specifically in paycards. Prior to Global Cash Card, George held several senior level positions at firms including Powertel, T-Mobile, ITC Financial Services, & Incomm. He has worked in all facets of prepaid and paycard operations including but not limited to: Business Development, Project Management, Customer Service, Implementation, Relationship & Account Management, and Social Media Expansion.

 As Vice President of Special Projects, George is responsible for delivering executive presentations, supporting & managing strategic channel partnerships, and contributing to executive decisions.  In addition, George is a prolific speaker at a variety of industry events including at American Payroll Association Local Chapters and Statewide Conferences. George is a recognized expert in the prepaid industry, and is invited to speak at over 50 conferences a year to educate payroll professionals on the benefits of electronic pay. He is a member of the American Payroll Association’s National Speakers Bureau and in 2014 & 2015 received the American Payroll Association’s Citation of Merit.

 George is a graduate of the University of North Florida and resides in Jacksonville with his wife and two children.

As always, your meeting registration fee includes breakfast, raffle prizes, and 1 Continuing Professional Education credit. Breakfast menu: Morning egg scramble with cheddar cheese and chives, Rose city yogurt parfait bar, breakfast breads and muffins, seasonal fruits and berries, orange and cranberry juices, coffee and hot teas.


Season pass holders: In order to track your attendance for CPP credits, please let us know you are coming. Just register as usual, but use the option to pay with a "voucher."


This month we will meet in the Moda Center's Private Dining Room, which is located on the 4th floor (Club Level).

By car: Free parking is available in the Garden Garage (attached to the north end of the Moda Center) on levels 4 -6. Level 4 is the meeting room level. Enter through the double doors from the garage. On the left are two additional doors, once inside follow the signs to the Private Dining Room (located on your left).

By public transportation: The Moda Center is located next to two MAX Light Rail Stations. The Rose Quarter Transit Center is located on the red, blue and green lines, and is located south of the arena. The Interstate/Rose Quarter station is located on the western side of the Rose Quarter campus and serves riders on the yellow line. Enter the Moda Center through the entrance across from the box office, take the elevator up one floor to level 4, and follow the signs to the Private Dining Room (located through the double doors on the left).
