Come join us! Breakfast begins at 7:30 AM with our speaker, Charlotte Hodde. 

Charlotte Hodde is an attorney at Barran Liebman LLP, where she focuses her practice on representing employers and management in employment litigation. Charlotte regularly advises on employment issues, including compliance with California, Oregon, and federal employment laws. She specializes in navigating tricky leave situations, including under the California Family Rights Act, the Oregon Family Leave Act, the ADA, and Oregon Sick Time, to name a few. Charlotte began her career with clerkships for judges in the United States District Court, both in California and Oregon. Charlotte is an active member of the Portland Human Resources Management Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, the California State Bar, and the Oregon Women Lawyers Working Parents Subcommittee. She is an active board member, currently serving as Chair for the Boys and Girls Club of Portland Associate Board. Charlotte has also been recognized by Oregon Super Lawyers Magazine, which has designated her as a “Rising Star.”

In this presentation, Barran Liebman attorney, Charlotte Hodde, will cover the most recent legislative changes impacting Oregon employers.  Topics will include expansion of overtime eligibility, the Oregon Workplace Fairness Act and its effect on discrimination and harassment policies, restrictions on nondisclosure, nondisparagement, & no-rehire provisions, and more.  With each legal development, Charlotte will provide attendees with practical tools and advice on how to adapt to these changes and maximize compliance in their workplaces.

As always, your meeting registration fee includes breakfast, raffle prizes, and 1 Continuing Professional Education credit. Please stay after the meeting to help put the room back in order.
